Jodie

Although she still can’t quite believe it, Jodie’s first job was in a bank. Her second was in fashion. But then she met and worked for “Maurice the Florist” and that’s when she knew the flower thing was for her. It brought back childhood memories of flowers and people and she was hooked.
Well, hooked until the travel bug got hold of her and soon backpacking, snowboarding and rollerblading (yes, rollerblading, remember it?) took over. Of course, Jodie combined this with floristry and was fortunate enough to work for the renowned Knightsbridge florist, Caroline Dickenson as well as the Savoy Hotel where she was responsible for all hotel, event and guest flowers.
Returning to Sydney with NO money, Jodie spent some time working and saving to start her own florist and in January, 1999 jodie mcgregor flowers opened its doors to customers for the first time. A bunch of beautiful water lilies were the first flowers sold.
Since then, Jodie has expanded the business, knocked down walls to make the shop bigger and employed a fantastic team of florists to help her. When not in the shop or working on it from home, Jodie loves spending time with her two gorgeous girls, Pirra and Remi and her husband Stu (sometimes). Whenever time allows, you will find her swimming, hunting for unique childrens clothing or at the beach.
Camille
Every Australian business has a kiwi working in it, right? Well Camille is our legendary NZ’er. She tells us she did her floristry schooling in New Zealand (but hasn’t ever proven it) and has been a JMF team member since 2001. Despite leaving us in 2005 (see below) she remains a much loved member of the team and a wonderful florist, always knowing exactly which flowers will work together for the specific brief.
Camille spent 2005 in Ireland managing a chain of florists and not getting used to Guinness or Irish blokes. As such, she had to return to Sydney and is now back into her old habits of cheering on the All Blacks and having 3 hour conversations with the family in New Zealand on Sunday nights.
Adrienne
Adrienne has flowers in her blood. Growing up on the northern outskirts of Sydney, Adrienne was used to seeing fields of flowers blooming throughout the year. And she loved them so much that she undertook work experience in a florist shop whilst at school and in 2007 is continuing to study courses that involve learning more about flowers and floristry.
On leaving school, Adrienne attained a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of Sydney which provides inspiration to her when completing floral pieces today. She also puts the rest of us to shame by holding a membership to the Professional Florists Association which she held prior to joining us in February 2007.
Outside of working Adrienne is a huge fan of shopping, Balmoral Beach and checking out art all across the city.
Bri
Bri is a two-timer. But in a nice way. You see, the thing is she's got her very own dead cool, drop dead gorgeous fashion label, Secret Squirrel. However, she is a true flower addict and just can't give up on her love of all things floral. She loves looking at flowers, smelling them, buying them, making things with them and, thankfully for us, selling them! So, Bri comes and plays with the flowers on Mondays where she installs flowers at all our corporate accounts. Then she backs up again to look after all our Saturday regulars at the Annandale store.
Narelle
We were lucky enough to inherit Narelle from a previous business and she has been with us since 2007. When it comes to flowers Narelle has a style which says, well, it just says "style". Somehow Narelle manages to make it classic, contemporary, crisp and pretty all at the same time and she is just loved by her very loyal customers at our Castlecrag store. When Narelle isn't demanding more magnolia be delivered to her she can be found riding her horse in northern Sydney or trying to keep her boys Murray (the husband), Jack and Nick (the sons) out of their kitchen.
Justine
What is there to say about Justine? To start with, don't call her Justine. 'Cos on day one she told us she likes to be called Juzzy G. So that's what we do - even though we don't believe in anyone giving themselves their own nickname. Anyway, Juzzy G got her start in floristy with one of our mates and a true icon in the flower industry, Angie Summers. Since working with us, Juzzy has got involved in it all, doing weddings, corporates, the retail shops and markets. Justine is a legend on the netball court and (you know, this is going to sound real cheesey) truly believes in living life to the full.
Angela
Like Bri, Ange is a real flower lover. It's a real buzz watching these two unpack the flowers straight from the growers and listening to their "oohs" and "aahs" as new season fleurs arrive. Despite being a young'n Ange has years of floristry experience as she believes in doing what you love. And she loves flowers, so it's what she has always done. And the benefits are clear for the jmf team and our clients as Ange puts together gorgeous bunches with her own whimsical style. When not doing the flower thing, Ange loves getting down to Bargo to see her folks or checking out the best Sydney has to offer with her bloke, Anthony.
Stu White
Stu has a background in banking and finance and did the smart thing and took paternity leave when he and Jodie had their first daughter Pirra. That was in 2002 and since then he has hung about the shop trying to look busy. No-one is quite sure what he does though as he can’t put a bunch of flowers together, nor can he wrap them. Despite this, he’s more than happy giving his opinion on everything and anything. A real help in the shop is ol’ Stu.
When not trying to look busy in the shop, Stu loves hanging out with his little man, Carter Brown and gorgeous girls Pirra, Remi and Jodie (and his mum, Maxy – she’ll love getting a mention). Like everyone else he loves catching up with friends and if there was more time in the day and he could remember how to do it he’d go snowboarding all the time.
