City Road, Cleveland Street, Golden Grove Street, Wilson Street and Abercrombie Street borders the Darlington. The original inhabitants of the suburb were Cadigal people whose main activities were fishing, hunting land animals and gathering shellfish and plants. Now, the main commercial focus of Darlington is the Abercrombie St at Lawson St.
