OUR APPROACH

We’re one of Australia’s favourite and most awarded florists and we’ve built this reputation by maintaining a team of wonderfully talented florists, sourcing gorgeous flowers and having a commitment to providing our customers with a fabulous experience from start to finish. We’ve been in business since way back in the last century (OK, only just, since we started in 1999) and, like nice flowers, have been growing ever since. The reason? Very simply, we care about and look after our customers. And do all we can so that the flowers we send are loved and admired by the recipients.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

We make this easy. Many florists say they need 24-48 hours notice to cancel your order. And some charge a fee to do so.

However, we understand that circumstances sometimes change and we’ll be happy to cancel your order and provide a full refund (with no fees deducted) right up until the delivery date requested. The refund will be made to the same account / card as originally used. To cancel an order, please call us on  612 9566 1999, or alternatively, send us an email to flowers@jodie.com.au noting your name, the recipient name, delivery date and order number (if you have one) and we will confirm back and cancel the order. The refund will be processed within 24 hours of receipt of the cancellation, please allow time for confirmation to appear on your bank/credit statement.

Unfortunately, if the flowers have been made up, are in transit or have been delivered to the recipient we will be unable to cancel the order or refund you, as I’m sure you would understand. In any case we will contact you to explain the situation.

For wedding flowers, cancellation must be made 2 weeks prior to the wedding to ensure that outstanding monies are not payable and a refund of all payments (less the non-refundable initial wedding deposit) can be made.

YOUR FLOWERS, OUR GUARANTEE

You should be completely happy with your purchase from Jodie McGregor Flowers. And we do all we can to make this happen. If flowers are past their best we give them away free in-store and do not send them out or sell them. We provide care instructions to help prolong the life of the flowers and to maximise your enjoyment of them. And we carefully select the flowers we buy for you and the growers we buy from. We’re committed to quality.

However, flowers are a natural product and there may be times that they don’t perform as well as expected. Additionally, there are flowers that have a vase life of no more than a day (we don’t send these out in orders) and some that can last for weeks. There are even some that can be planted in the garden and last forever once you’ve finished enjoying them as a cut flower!

What this all means is it is difficult to adopt a one size fits all policy. However, as a general guide you can expect your flowers to last between 3 and 7 days and if for some reason they don’t last 3 days we would firstly like to apologise and then secondly rectify the situation by providing replacement flowers.

Should your flowers not last 3 days or arrive damaged or not as ordered please contact us within 3 days of delivery/receipt of the flowers by phone  612 9566 1999, text message to 614 0388 1508, email flowers@jodie.com.au or via our contact us page on our website. If possible, please provide an image of the flowers – we have had situations where people have been disappointed in their flowers only to find they were from another florist. For this reason, we may require that the flowers be returned to us (at our cost and organised by us) or that an image be provided before replacement flowers are provided.

We understand it is not always possible to contact us straight away and advise that your flowers haven't lasted, were damaged or not as ordered. As such and as long as we are provided proof of purchase and contacted within 30 days of receipt/delivery of the flowers as well as being provided an image showing that it was taken within 3 days of the delivery/receipt of flowers we will initiate a review of the situation.

After review, if it is confirmed the flowers haven’t lasted for 3 days or were damaged or not as ordered and were purchased from Jodie McGregor Flowers we will arrange for new flowers to be sent, together with an apology. Alternatively a refund to be issued. New flowers will be sent the following weekday at the latest or potentially same day. The refund will be processed as per the original payment method and within 24 hours - please allow time for confirmation to appear on your bank/credit statement.

Finally, if you are unhappy with the flowers but they have lasted longer than 3 days please contact us and we will look into the circumstances with the aim of providing you with an outcome and/or explanation that you will be satisfied with.

FLOWER AVAILABILITY AND SUBSTITUTIONS

Please note, there may be times when specific flower varieties will be unavailable due to seasonal factors as well as occasions when we deem the quality of the available supply is diminished and not suitable for our clients. In these circumstances substitute flowers (of equal or greater value) will need to be used. Any substitution will be made in keeping to the design of your selection.

In a situation where we feel the look and style of flowers would be too different to your original selection we will contact you to determine how you would like us to proceed, unless the flowers are for a time critical occasion (birthday, anniversary etc) and we have been unable to contact you. In these situations we will send flowers that are of equal or greater value to those selected and which we believe are the best choice, based on your initial selection and after discussion amongst our team of florists. Please also note that since COVID-19 the availability of flowers and the reliability of the days on which they are available for us to purchase from growers and wholesalers has diminished. It has meant that unfortunately, our need to make substitutions has increased since COVID-19. Whilst a little disappointing, in the grand scheme of things and comparatively speaking this isn't too big a deal.
